Overview: Sonor Trixon ? 14x4.5
Status: Used
Description: This description is from the previous owner (I bought this on ebay) “I offer here a very old chromed brass snare (Chrome over Brass), about 50s. The special feature of this snare is the lift, which is located inside the boiler. The carpet is pressed from the inside to the coat. It is a simple but effective parallel withdrawal. The hoops look like hand-drawn or forged. Unfortunately, I know nothing about the manufacturer, even on the Internet, I found nothing. If anyone knows the part, I would be glad about a short info. Unfortunately, the snare of time has nibbled on this snare too, but it is limited. Only the hoops have / had rust attack. I polished it as good as possible. You can change the hoops, but then is no longer original. Since the snare was used in earlier years as a marching drum, there are holes in the upper clamping ring where the knuckle and hooks were attached, in the lower ring, the holes have been closed. The skins are probably still original, but in good condition. The snare is sold as it can be seen in the pictures / pictures are part of the offer.”
Condition: The drum is used and has no problems of any kind. It has some visible scratches and marks on the shell (inspect photos carefully). It is important to know that when you receive this drum it will be detuned completely. This is to protect the instrument during shipping. That being said it is important to tune the drum properly to get the best sounding instrument.
