Overview: Premier Royal-Ace 14x5.5

Description: Tidy, vintage Premier made in England Royal-Ace snare drum in its original Blue pearl factory wrap. 
The drum dates from the early to mid 60s.
 
Condition: The chrome work is in great condition with some pitting on the hoops which is normal for drums of this age. The drum is all original except for one lug that has been replaced at some point. The top 8 tension rods have also been replaced to later square headed this makes it easier to tune. I still have original tension rods if you prefer them. Snare throw-off works great and the drum sounds great! It is important to know that when you receive this drum it will be detuned completely. This is to protect the instrument during shipping. That being said it is important to tune the drum properly to get the best sounding instrument.
