Overview: Mercury Drum Company 14x5.5

Description: There is very little information available on the Mercury Drum Company. The company was based in the UK and many of their drums where built to order by Clive Davies who passed away some time ago. 
This drum is a beautiful Maple Shell with reinforcement rings. The drum has Brass Tube Lugs and single flanged hoops. This is a really nice sounding snare with excellent stick definition and a really nice warm and rounded tone.
 
Condition: The drum is lightly used and well kept and has no problems of any kind. It has no visible scratches or marks on the shell (inspect photos carefully). It is important to know that when you receive this drum it will be detuned completely. This is to protect the instrument during shipping. That being said it is important to tune the drum properly to get the best sounding instrument.
